Anne Kucera
ARTIST

Behind the work
Anne Kucera's art explores the profound connection we have with the natural world. At it's heart, is a desire to capture the sublime; that awe inspiring experience of liminal space in nature that alters our emotions and perspective. The mark of the handmade is an important presence in reflecting that reverence between the landscape and its power on the human perspective.
Her work traverses the boundaries between impressionism, expressionism and realism, and she works in watercolour, printmaking and painting. It aims to represent a respect for both the chaos and the calm, the untameable and nuturing relationship we have with nature.
